The new centre will be named after staff member Erica Seitcher, who is the Program Coordinator at Kackaamin, and the heart of the work who brings culture and safety for all children who attend.

Previously, the Kackaamin Centre offered a Toddler Centre for up to 12 children, but now with the new addition of the Erica Seitcher Daycare Centre, there is room for up to 24 children.

As we gathered outside to watch the ribbon cutting, Noah Thomas shared a personal story and song that he wrote which touched the hearts of many around the circle.
